On race day, packet pickup and gear check open at 6:30 am at Owen Beach, which also serves as the start and finish line. Parking is available within Point Defiance Park, but arriving early is recommended to avoid lines. The weather in October is usually dry but cool, so dressing in layers and bringing trail-appropriate footwear is advised.
