Hop Hop Half runs along the scenic shores of Lacamas Lake in Camas, Washington, a short drive east of Portland across the Columbia River. The course showcases spring wildflowers, towering Douglas firs, and the sparkling lake on a well-maintained route that’s challenging but accessible for all abilities. With five distances \u2014 half marathon, 15K, 10K, 5K, and a 1-miler \u2014 the whole family can participate on Easter Saturday.<\/p>\n
Produced by Foot Traffic, Portland’s iconic local running retailer, Hop Hop Half takes place on Easter weekend every April. The 2026 race is Saturday, April 4th. Wave starts begin at 7:15 a.m. for early half and 15K runners, with the main wave at 7:50 a.m. and the 1-miler at 8:45 a.m. The course closes fully at 11:30 a.m. Group pricing is available for teams of six or more, and mimosas and Easter bunny photo ops add to the festive post-race party.<\/p>\n
