The BMO Vancouver Marathon is Canada’s largest marathon, featuring a world-class point-to-point course that showcases Vancouver’s stunning beaches, parks, and urban landscape.
Course Highlights
The BMO Vancouver Marathon offers a breathtaking point-to-point journey through one of the world’s most beautiful cities. The race begins at Queen Elizabeth Park, the highest point in Vancouver, offering panoramic views of the city skyline and the North Shore Mountains. From there, runners traverse through diverse neighborhoods, including the lush residential streets of Kerrisdale and the academic atmosphere of the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus. One of the most iconic segments of the course is the 9-kilometer stretch along the Stanley Park Seawall, the world’s longest uninterrupted waterfront path. Runners are treated to views of the Pacific Ocean, dense coastal rainforests, and the historic Siwash Rock before heading toward the high-energy finish line in the heart of Downtown Vancouver.
